| Riverdale is located on the southern end of Lake Sakakawea with easy access to both the lake as well as the downstream area known as the tailrace. Open water fishing can be a year round experience for the die-hard anglers. The tailrace offers great walleye fishing all through the winter with bonus trout and salmon. The big lake starts early May with a walleye spawn north of Mallard Island that kicks off the great spring bite. |
