BIO

Greg grew up in the lake region of Minnesota with the Mississippi river as his closest neighbor. Life on a farm left little time for hunting and fishing. Chores and responsibilities were endless but the passion to hunt and fish often won out. After an adventurous 3 years with the 82nd airborne, Colorado became the next frontier to explore.  During the years of high fur prices Greg could be found anywhere between New Mexico and Montana long line trapping cats and coyotes. Settling in Montana after a successful season mining gold in Alaska, Greg's interest in fishing was brought back to life by the Yellowstone River's challenging walleye bite. A move to North Dakota, combined with a friend asking him to fish a tournament, ignited the competitive bug with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes in as many years. In 2004 he ranked 21st in the nation as a professional tournament angler with the FLW walleye circuit. 

Currently Greg lives in Minot, ND with his wife Julie and three children. He is the host “ND Live, Wet & Wild” a radio and internet based program designed to put more fish in your livewell.
